Our Mission

Mission Statement

Experience . Know . Share Jesus!

For in Him we live and move and have our being.  Acts 17:28

Vision Statement

Standing on the Word Ministries vision is to take the Gospel to the captives, encourage and disciple new believers and strengthen and encourage the body of Christ so that each brother and sister we encounter is spurred on and reminded that we are called to walk in spirit and truth and flourish into fruit producing disciples of Jesus Christ advancing the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. We know that in serving His children we are serving Him.

We aspire to faithfully follow Jesus Christ, share the love of God and the Gospel of salvation to the lost to make them disciples of Jesus Christ. We encourage the Body of Christ to walk in their freedom in Christ and to be faithful stewards of their call and gifts.

Statement of Faith

Standing on the Word Ministries is deep rooted and secure in our identity as obedient followers of Jesus Christ. We aspire to live and share the Gospel with everyone we meet so they too can live in the freedom found only when we understand, accept and confess that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary, that He led a sinless life as an example for us, He endured an undeserved and brutally sacrificial death on the cross for us.  This was the only possible atonement for the sins of mankind, and most powerfully his resurrection which tore the veil that separated us from God.  In confessing this we receive His mercy and forgiveness and are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and live with the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Our purpose is to glorify God and advance His Kingdom.

Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and firm in your faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7

The Great Commission

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:16-20

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
John 14:12
